Fall PCCSC Championships 2017

The USC Trojans closed out their Fall season with the 2017 Fall PCCSC Championships in Santa Barbara! The JV Division finished 4th in their division, while the Women Of Troy finished 9th in the Varsity Division. The Co-ed Team incurred an unfortunate penalty, but still rallied to finish 6th overall!

Winning ways at Women’s PCCs

The Women of Troy excelled in light and shifty conditions to finish 2nd overall in the 2017 Women's PCC's! The team of Grace Yakutis, Melissa Schem, Sarah Alexander, and Hope Modugno sailed hard, securing 2nd place at the end of the weekend. Meanwhile, the team of Lorea Mendiguren and Caroline Gay finished 10th overall in a strong showing

Fun times at the Frosh-Soph Regatta

The Trojans had a great time competing in the UCSD Frosh-Soph Regatta and the UCSD Open last weeken, with the team finishing 2nd and 3rd in both regattas! We'd like to thank all the parents and alumni who came out to support us and host us for the weekend! Fight

Getting the 1, 2 at Home

With abnormal conditions USC still managed to successfully defend at Home, racing inside in the turning basin right outside ABYC with current and a SSE breeze. There were 6 teams really vying for the top at the start at the regatta and took half the regatta to see that number

Fighting on at Harbor Cup

Starting off the regatta with a DSQ the team did nothing but fight each race to continuously moving up the fleet and up the rankings, with scores on par with the top of the fleet. Unfortunately there were no races on Sunday as the top of the fleet was real close.

The 1 , 2 Switch

Having Anteater hop onto the calendar real close to its actual date and also conflicting with a Harbor Cup practice, it was a little of a scramble to pull together. However that did not stop USC from claiming both the top spots with our Junior Varsity team 1st and Varsity

Jeff Simon Memorial San Diego

There was a lot happening at Mission Bay Yacht Club this week with the venue being double booked for Thistle Mid-winters. Second day conditions had us sailing in the cove just south of the peninsula. Great close knit racing with USC Varsity finishing second. Good Job!
