The top 36 sailing teams in the country travelled to Long Beach, CA compete in the ICSA Western and Eastern Semi-Finals.  While hosting the largest collegiate regatta in the country the Trojans were also fighting for their spot at the national championship regatta to be held in June.  In order to qualify, the Trojans needed to place 9th or better in the Western Semi-Final.  The regatta got off to a good start in light breezes with the westerly breeze feeling throughout each day.  After the first day, the Trojans were in striking distance for a qualification spot.  Day 2 started a bit slower for the team and unfortunately they were unable to recover.  Despite finishing 15th, the team successfully ran a great event and looks forward to next year as the only graduating senior was Brock Kraebel.
