Trojans Finish 8th at Fall Championship

The entire team traveled to Santa Barbara to compete in the Fall Pacific Coast Championship Regatta. Â This event draws teams from the entire west coast as well as a couple teams from other parts of the country. Â A storm rolled through on Friday producing a very strong breeze for Saturday. Â The regatta saw many significant shifts, big breeze, and waves. Â Still, the Trojans sailed to a strong 8th place finish in the tough conditions. Â The team was led my Max Hutcheson and Hollis Barth who finished 4th in A-Division. Â John Coakley and Olivia sailed B-Division while Brandon Yuen toughed it out in C-Division. Â The JV sailors also had a strong showing finishing 13th despite the tough conditions.
