USC Hosts Rose Bowl Regatta

January 4-5, 2014: The USC Varsity Sailing Team hosted one of the largest joint high school and collegiate sailing regattas in the country over the weekend.
The regatta included 26 college teams and 63 California high school teams and was sailed off the Belmont Pier in Long Beach. Over 500 friends, family, and sailors took part in the regatta, with much of the USC team assisting with logistics and race committee duties.
USC entered one Varsity team, led by drivers Max Hutcheson ’14 and John Coakley ’16, which placed 12th overall.
