The USC Varsity Sailing Team hosted multiple events out of Long Beach over three days – Women’s Single- and Doublehanded Pacific Coast Championships (PCCs), and Men’s Singlehanded PCCs. Sailed in the ocean outside of Alamitos Bay, the Trojan team ran a variety of courses just off of the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier.

Over the weekend, the USC Sailing Team participated in the Men’s Singlehanded and the Women’s Doublehanded events.

The Men’s Singlehanded PCCs, sailed in Lasers, included two Trojans – Max Hutcheson ’14 and Brandon Yuen ’14. Max placed 8th, and Brandon finished 13th overall.

Our own Women Of Troy finished 6th overall in the Women’s Doublehanded PCCs event. There were significant rotations throughout the weekend, but the team was made up of Kendall Sanson ’15, Olivia Gebelein ’15, Caroline Carney ’16, Hollis Barth ’16, and Nicole Bosetti ’15.
